Papa was an American Boy

This tune uses Estelle's instrumental of 'American Boy' and The Temptations vocals from ' Papa was a Rolling Stone'.

I've had Dennis Edwards, Melvin Franklin, Richard Street and Damon Harris' alternate vocal lines to contend with! I've found some common ground with the keys and pitch................ anyways, have a listen and let me know what you reckon!

You Know I'm Stronger than Frank Black

I've been messing with the 'Back to Black' instrumentals recently - this is a by-product of that messing! Bit of a no-brainer this one! The two songs from different ends of Amy's career, it uses the acapella from 'Stronger Than Me' which featured on Amy's first album 'Frank' under this are vocals and the instrumental from'You Know I'm No Good' from the excellent 'Back to Black'.

A Clown's Perspective

This tune uses an acapella from soul legend, Smokey Robinson's 'Tears of a Clown' laid over the top of DB Boulevard's dance classic 'Point of View'. Moony's vocals also feature a little on the chorus.

Ramdom Thoughts Exclusives

These two tunes have just featured on Ramdom Thoughts podcast Show 100. Scott (the podcaster) asked us for exclusives to be played for his milestone show and he wasn't disappointed! The show contained 22 exclusives from many talented DJs/mash artists (including me for some strange reason :)). There are some fantastic tunes - check out his website!

The two exclusives from me were:

Let the Bells Play - Download Here!

This tune uses a loop and vocals cut from Anita Ward's 'Ring my Bell' with acapella from Shannon's 'Let the Music Play'. If you like 70's/80's dance /soul this should be right up your street.

Do You Believe in Atomic Energy - Blondie vs Cher

This uses a loop and vocals cut from Blondie's 'Atomic' mixed with Cher's 'Believe'. A poppy, dancey tune with a little retro flavour thrown in for good measure.

Corrie's Gone Funky!

This little ditty I've had on my Ipod for a few years!!! I've put it up here today as part of the GYBO TV Theme tune challenge. The tune uses a reggae instrumental version of the (in)famous Coronation Street theme tune with the rap from Bassheads ' Is There Anybody Out There'. It's a top tune that deserves to be heard - loudly!!
