mARKYbOY's Motown Mashed

Hi Guys

After collating all my Amy Winehouse mashed tunes into one download I thought I'd gather together all my Motown mashes too. These tunes use either instrumentals or acapellas from Motown classics such as The Supremes 'My World is Empty Without You', Jackson 5's 'I'll Be There', Smokey Robinson's 'Tears of a Clown' mashed with contemporary artists such as Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis, Kanye West and Madonna.

Most of these tunes have been available in the usual places (GYBO, SUSN, ACAS4U, Mashuptown, Mashstix etc) or have been exclusives on Ramdom Thoughts podcast (cheers Scott!).

The album includes a new mash using Dennis Edwards and Seidah Garrett's vocals from the 80's tune 'Don't Look Any Further' and the instrumental from Mary Mary's cross-over gospel hit 'Shackles' - 80's soul fused with 90's gospel!

Had a break from Amy mashes for a bit but still in a chilled, summer vibe with loads of Motown/ soul type tunes.

This tunes is the instrumental from Al Green's 'Lets Stay Together' and the acapella from 'Bleeding Love' by Leona Lewis.
